NOMINATION DAY DEADLINE

Monday September 20th. All nomination papers must be received by noon on September 20th.

 

CANDIDATE FORUM

Tuesday September 28th in the Calmar Secondary School gymnasium located at 5100 – 49 Street, doors will open at 5:00pm and the forum will begin at 5:30pm (masks mandatory)

 

ADVANCE VOTE

Saturday October 2nd between 11:00am – 2:00pm at Council Chambers, located at 4901 – 50 Avenue, please use east entrance (masks mandatory)

 

ELECTION DAY

Monday October 18th between 10:00am – 8:00pm at the Calmar Legion, located at 4815 – 47 Street (masks mandatory)

CURRENT REFERENDUM QUESTIONS

  • Should section 36(2) of the Constitution Act, 1982 – Parliament and the government of Canada’s commitment to the principle of making equalization payments – be removed from the constitution?
  • Do you want Alberta to adopt a year-round Daylight Savings Time, which is summer hours, eliminating the need to change our clocks twice a year?
